What We Do
DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
Each project starts with a free consultation, which can be arranged at a convenient time including on evenings and weekends. After the site visit, an appraisal is undertaken to ensure that your development is viable, and a brief is established. The initial feasibility design can then progress considering any constraints associated with your site.
PLANNING
We consider the best route to procure any approvals required. This may include utilising your permitted development rights or securing a formal planning consent. Planning is a complex field which changes frequently, and it is important that the correct path is established. Whilst a successful outcome is not guaranteed, we have an expansive knowledge of the planning legislation to best guide you through the process.
BUILDING REGULATIONS
Following a successful planning application, careful attention is paid to how your development is built. To enable your scheme to become useable, it is essential that it is designed to the current Building Regulations standards. With an extensive knowledge of the current Approved Documents and an understanding of different construction philosophies, we ensure that the interpretation of each regulation is tailored to your projects needs.
TENDER AND SITE
On larger and more complex developments, our services may extend beyond Building Regulations. Subject to your requirements, we can provide project management services from tender stage to completion of the works on site. Projects are often procured in a number of different ways; therefore, we are happy to discuss the level of our input once the necessary approvals are sought.
Planning
Includes the preparation of drawings, planning forms and design documents for all planning applications. Thereafter the application is managed to determination.
